Recently, Jinan, the capital city of east China's Shandong province, has seen multiple rounds of rainfall since the start of the flood season, which effectively replenished local groundwater levels and restored flow to many of the city's famed springs.
On July 9th, the groundwater level at Baotu Spring reached 28.10 meters, and Heihu Spring stood at 28.09 meters, according to the data from the Jinan Urban and Rural Water Affairs Bureau at 7:00 am that day. Compared with July 1st, the water levels at these two famous springs in Jinan have risen significantly by 19 centimeters and 23 centimeters, respectively. The magnificent scenes of "Baotu Spring Spurting Skyward" and "Heihu Spring Roaring at the Moon" have drawn wide-spread attention from crowds of citizens and tourists.

Typically, when the groundwater level of Baotu Spring reaches 29 meters, the dormant Crescent Spring will revive, bringing back the "Crescent Waterfall" spectacle. This signifies that all of Jinan's "72 Famous Springs" will regain their vitality.
